The Musalla is located in Winthrop Hall at the hear of the University of Western Australia. It welcomes not only students but community members. It is particularly busy on Fridays for Jumuaa prayers. These specific prayers take typically place at the Undercroft or the GYM given the number of worshippers. The prayer hall reflects a successful adaptive reuse method, where white wooden panels are used to define the edges of each prayer section. There are also Islamic art pieces designed by architect and researcher Dr Majdi Faleh, who pursued his PhD at UWA.Â
