The Abdelhamid Ben Badis Mosque, is an Algerian mosque located in Hai Djamel Eddine, east of the city of Oran, which can accommodate up to 25,000 people, and has a minaret 104 meters high. It is the largest mosque in the city of Oran and all of Orania. It is baptized in the name of an icon of religious nationalism Abdelhamid Ben Badis.
The Abdelhamid Ben Badis Mosque features two prayer halls, a 104-meter minaret, and Islamic architectural elements that combine traditional and contemporary designs. The mosque carries the name of Abdelhamid Ben Badis, who founded the Association of Algerian Muslim Ulema in 1931 to promote Islamic reform.
