Sultan Ahmad 1 Kuantan State Mosque is the largest mosque in the state of Pahang and can accommodate at least 10,000 people and is a source of pride for the people of the state. The minaret of the mosque measures 180 feet high and makes it one of the most famous mosques. Sultan Ahmad Shah Mosque is located in the heart of Kuantan City, the capital of Pahang. Located on Jalan Mahkota, the mosque is located in the heart of a busy business district. Around the mosque there are government buildings, banks and shops. Next to this mosque is a large football field.
