Southern Novosibirsk Central Mosque

Information

Their spiers are decorated with crescents. The height of the central minaret is 43 meters, the two side ones – 29 meters. Inside the largest minaret is a spiral staircase. It leads to a platform from where, from a height of 30 meters, the muezzin calls Muslims to prayer. The huge domed vault creates an impression of calm and majesty from the outside and from the inside. The mosque has many lancet windows, so the room is permeated with light. In total, it can accommodate up to 200 people. The mosque is devoid of excessive decor, the conciseness of the design is emphasized by the metal coating of the vaults. Twice a year big religious holidays are held here.
