Panglima Kinta Mosque

Information

Masjid Panglima Kinta, Ipoh was perceived by the Division of National legacy as an vital legacy building. Built on a 45,000 square feet location adjoining to the Kinta Stream, it was the primary mosque to be developed in Kinta by Dato’ Panglima Kinta Mohd Yusof canister Salam. In spite of the fact that it is said that the reason of the building was to commemorate the misfortune of his spouse, it had served as a centre to satisfy the requirements of the Malay community of Kampung Kuchai and the encompassing neighborhoods. More often than not, the organization of Malaysian mosques is run by the committee or qariah voted by the neighborhood larger part. In any case, Masjid Panglima Kinta is chaired by an person named by His Regal Height, the Sultan of Perak, with the title Orang Besar Jajahan Kinta (Regional Chief of Kinta) or way better known as Dato’ Panglima Kinta. This convention is still continuous.
