Construction of the mosque began in 2019, and is located on the West Phillip Goldson Highway – 2 miles from Belize City. Â The land occupies about 1.28 acres, but only 9 acres have been used. According to the mosque administrator, the remaining land will be used for future construction. For this second stage, it has been planned to build a school, a community center. When its construction is finished, the building will house a prayer room for 200 worshipers.
