The mosque occupies a large plot of land, in a green area. The two floors of the building house prayer rooms, ablution rooms, a library, and even a place for general ceremonies. Today almost the entire Muslim community in the city follows the Sunni school, and the Muslims are mainly Lebanese and descendants, Palestinians, Egyptians and Brazilians, the number of Africans is not large. The mosque is run by the Palestinian Hajj Kamal Hamideh, who also helps in the communities in the cities of Goiânia and Trindade.
