_Firali Ferganuly Mosque

Information

The Firali Ferganuly Mosque was built in 2009. The construction and opening of a mosque in the Turksib district became necessary due to the fact that representatives of different ethnic groups who recognize the Muslim religion as a traditional faith live in this district and local residents were looking for a religious building to satisfy their spiritual needs.

The mosque operates in accordance with the canons of Sunni Islam and the Hanafi madhhab, five times prayers, Friday collective prayers (“juma prayers”) and other prayers and meetings are carried out according to the Muslim calendar. About 40-50 people gather for daily prayers in the mosque, 600-700 parishioners visit the mosque on Friday prayers, on the days of the main Muslim holidays Ait Namaz, the number of parishioners reaches up to 3 thousand people.
