The Mooroopna Mosque (Turkish Cultural and Community Centre of Mooroopna) in the Goulburn Valley comprises approximately 400 families, has a lively community who reside and engage in many aspects of community life in the Goulburn Valley. The mosque, which was founded in 1986, opened about two years later.
The Islamic centre includes Ablution spaces, bathroom, kitchen, office room and hall that can be used for various purposes constitute the outbuilding of the mosque. The mosque, where 200 people can worship at the same time, also has a section where women can worship. Housing, men’s and women’s restrooms, handicapped toilets.
