Ayesha Mosque was established in 2009 to serve around 300 Muslim houses. The small mosque, is more of a prayer hall (Musuala) and is located in Auckland, the capital of New Zealand. Although the building is very simple, the mosque has become an important and integral part of the lives of the Muslim communities and its activities and programmes help maintain and enhance our physical, moral, mental and spiritual values.
There is a new project that aim to accommodate the future needs of the Muslim community for future development. The proposed mosque has a traditional design with a white façade with an eclectic design, a main dome and a minaret. Musharabiyya-style windows and patterns decorate the façade.
