
The design divides the building into spaces for spiritual activities and spaces for social activities. . Etched geometric patterns on the glazing of the prayer hall are used to celebrate God’s guiding light (Al Noor). The following facilities are included:Â Prayer hall, a balcony, multi-purpose gymnasium, a library, five classrooms, commercial kitchen and an underground parking. The mosque received the Faith and Form Award in 2004 and the Masonry Institute of B.C. Award in 2005.
