The Maral-ishan Mosque, traditionally also known as the Ak-Mosque, is the central and oldest mosque in Kostanay, Kazakhstan.
The semicircular projection of the two-story mosque ended with a balcony from which Muslims were called to prayer. The height of the mosque was 6 meters and it was divided into two tiers: the upper one was for the local nobility, and the lower one was for poor Muslims.
