The International Muslim Student Association of Leuven (IMSAL) was founded in 1984, to provide a platform and meeting space to the Muslim who come to study at KU in Leuven or any other educational institute in Leuven. Founded primarily to cater for the needs of Muslim students, today however, IMSAL’s sphere of operations has expanded considerably, catering for the various needs of not only Muslim students, but their families, the non-Muslim students, and also the general Muslim and non-Muslim community of Leuven and Belgium at large.
They make a lot of activities in the mosque, like quraan lessons for adults and kids, Hiking, group Iftar in Ramadan and many other activities.
