Kampong Bunut Mosque is located about 8 km from Bandar Seri Begawan. The mosque was built in 1991 on the site of 2 acres of land and was completed in 1992 with expenses of approximately $ 2,400,000.00. The capacity of the mosque is 1,500 worshipers. Among the facilities available at this mosque is a multi-purpose hall, room remains complete, rooms and libraries have websites.
