Masjid Kampong Beribi located about 5km from Bandar Seri Begawan. Construction of the mosque began in the 17th. February, 1983 on the site of 2 acres of land and construction was completed on the 9th. December, 1983. mosque was officially opened on Friday the 20th. Muharram, 1404 corresponding to 23th. March 1984 by HRH Pengiran Pengiran Laila Royal Code Bahrin bin Pengiran Haji Abbas, Minister for Law, Brunei Darussalam. Capacity mosque can accommodate up to 500 worshipers.
