The Nurul Iman Mosque or also known as the Presidential Mosque is a mosque located at the fork of Jalan Imam Bonjol and Jalan Muhammad Thamrin, Padang City , West Sumatra . This mosque is one of the largest mosques in the city of Padang. The Nurul Iman Mosque has a large dome in the main building and a separate minaret from the main building. This mosque consists of two floors with 30 pillars supported. Sixteen pillars of which are the main support poles located in the middle of the main building. Shades of green dominate the dome and minarets of the mosque, complemented by a five-star motif on the ornaments of the walls and fences of the mosque. The uniqueness of this mosque lies in the level leading to the second floor which can be found in every corner of the room. In addition, the floor where the congregation performs their prayers is also designed with a wooden feelwhich is soft felt at the feet of the congregation.
