
Dato Undang Kamat Mosque is located in Simpang , Negeri Sembilan . Its name was given in conjunction with the name of its patron and the owner of the land who donated his land for the construction of this mosque, Dato Undang Kamat .
Dato Kamat is one of the Undang from Luak in Negeri Sembilan. Negeri Sembilan is the only state in Malaysia that still maintains the tribal system, which means that each of the nine tribes residing in Negeri Sembilan has a Law or a tribal leader.
