_Bedirye Tiryaki Mencik Mosque

Information

The Bedirye Tiryaki Mencik Mosque is considered as an example of adapted mosques, which were built with the intention to mould traditional and new country elements. The mosque has symbolic elements, a dome and a minaret, which were designed with a modern approach and built with contemporary materials.

The precast concrete mosque won the best Practice Award in building category for the year 2009-2011.
