Baitul Muqeet Mosque is the first built mosque by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in New Zealand. At the time of opening, the mosque was the largest in the country. Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the spiritual leader of the Ahmadiyya community, led the first prayers.
