Al-Hana Mosque is one of the largest and most popular mosque in Langkawi. A peach-and-gold structure situated to to the west of the picturesque Lagenda Langkawi In A Park. Close to waterfront and features a Moorish-style architecture, the design itself is incorporated with Islamic motif from Uzbekistan and follows conventional mosque layout that includes a main dome and several smaller domes surrounding it.
The architecture has a mix of Malaysian style and that of Uzbekistan. Many motifs and carvings have been adapted from typical Uzbekistan mosques. The main hall or the prayer room is large and looks awesome. The walls here have verses from the Koran etched on its walls. There is an wooden pulpit in the main prayer room which is carved beautifully. This is where the prayer leader or the imam stands and delivers the summons.
