The Al Fatiha Mosque is located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The space where the mosque stands today was purchased in 1993. In 2010, an earthquake devastated much of the country and consequently the mosque was damaged, and was later renovated.
The land was a donation made by Abdul Ali in 1995. The design of the mosque was designed by Muhammad Ameer. He was also the main donor of funds for the construction of the mosque. Because of the location of the land, Mehrab (central place of the Imam) is in the corner of the mosque.
