The mosque was built on a regular plot in the middle of a densely built-up area. Due to the dimensions of the lot, the building had to be verticalized. The building has four floors, plus a minaret that rises above the other neighbouring buildings. The main entrance is accessed by a staircase leading to the lobby, and on the second floor is the main prayer room. Although the building has features that make it distinguishable from neighboring buildings by its decorative motifs, it does not have the monumentality of other mosques. One reason is that the building does not stand alone on the lot, but is flanked by two buildings of similar proportions. What distinguishes it from the other neighboring buildings is the minaret and the decoration with motifs reminiscent of Islamic architecture.
