The Al-Abrar Mosque was designed on the land of the property of the Directorate of Agriculture in Assiut, but the construction was by self-effort, and it was designed by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Samie Eid (former President of Assiut University), the Office of Architecture and Planning, and the structural design and implementation were supervised by Prof. Dr. Sabri Farghali, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Abdo, Prof. Mohamed Fathi, Prof. Ahmed Rushdi Tawfiq. The design of the mosque includes two floors and a basement with a prayer room for women and toilets for men and women, and it has one minaret and one dome.
