
Merih Aykaç graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture in 1988 and received a master’s degree from same university in 1993. She worked as project coordinator and consultant in various institutions such as Directorate General of Foundations, Misafir Furniture, Ender Construction, KOMAŞ, Türkiye Diyanet Foundation and has implemented many projects from design to implementation. Also she worked as a lecturer at Erciyes University between 2003-2006. She was interior designer and project coordinator of Ahmet Hamdi Akseki Mosque which has many firsts as design and technology. She worked as a project coordinator and consultant for various projects like Cologne Central Mosque, Presidency Millet Mosque, Gotanda mosque in Türkiye Diyanet Foundation between 2014-2018. Merih AYKAÇ has designs in various fields such as mosque, exhibition hall, office and meeting rooms and store designs in Turkey and abroad.
