
Reza Daneshmir received his Master’s degree in architecture and urban design from Iran University of Science & Technology in 1992. While studying architecture, Daneshmir also pursued painting and music actively. He had 8 solo and group exhibitions in Tehran art galleries and museums, such as Niavaran Cultural Center, Seyhoun Art Gallery, Aria Art Gallery, No. 13, Vanak St. Gallery, The 1st Painting Biennale of Iran, etc. Having several years of experience in art and architecture, Daneshmir started his professional career as an architect in 2000, with a project named Ave Gallery which was a transformation of an abandoned swimming pool into an art gallery. He has taught architecture at different universities, written multiple articles, and has held various lectures in different venues.
