The Mosque of Safia Kanoo includes different features of the Islamic style which were used many years ago from the beginning of the developing process of building mosques, it is not just using the style but also using Islamic colors which are highly known such as white and gold. The Mosque is also very simple and somewhat modern, just next to the Mosque is a hall called Fatima Kanoo hall that can be rented for different occasions. The Mosque was designed by the “Gulf House Engineering” and the plans ready by no later than the month of April 2010. The Mosque is located in Tubli or can also be called Abu Ghazal, Bahrain and built by the donations of Safia Kanoo herself and named after her. Before the grand opening of any Mosque or mosque, the head of alawqaf which is a suni endowment or also known as the ministry of justice and Islamic affairs looks at the Jami’s facilities, space, needs, etc... So that it can be officially open to the public, which was in Safia Kanoo’s case on the 17th of July 2012 and by Friday the 18th of July 2012 the Mosque was completed and handed over to its owner as it also held the Friday prayer on the day of the opening.
