Al Rahmah Mosque

Description

Visited by millions every year, the Floating Mosque also known as Masjid Al Rahma , is one of the most popular attractions of the city of Jeddah. Constructed on the coast of the Red Sea, the majestic mosque appears to be floating as it is built on pillars. The beautiful white mosque is a must-see for those visiting the city of Jeddah. The mosque is fully functional and is used by many for prayers along with those who are just visiting. Masjid Al Rahma uses a mix of traditional architecture and modern technology, and is equipped with all the necessary facilities (prayer area, wudhu facilities, etc). Those visiting the mosque should take a walk along Corniche Road to really appreciate the beauty of the mosque, especially at sunrise or sunset. Those who are lucky enough to visit the mosque during high tide will be able to really enjoy magnificent views of the mosque, as during this time the mosque literally looks like it is floating.
