Wahyu Al-Hadi Mosque

History

The construction of the Wahyu Al-Hadi Mosque is intended so that all Islamic activities, such as Islamic Religious and Moral Education for the people of East Kotawaringin are centered in this mosque. This was explained by the East Kotawaringin Regent who was serving at that time, namely Drs. HM. Wahyudi K. Anwar.

The construction of the Wahyu Al-Hadi Mosque began in 2004. The construction took up to 6 years, namely between 2004 and 2010. The process of inaugurating the mosque was carried out on Friday, September 24 2010, to be precise at the end of Drs. HM. Wahyudi K. Anwar who served as East Kotawaringin Regent at that time, even though at that time the entire construction of the mosque had not been fully completed. During the inauguration, several well-known preachers were also invited to enliven the happy atmosphere, such as KH. Gymnastiar (AA Gym) and KH. Zainuddin MZ (Alm.).

In 2011, the construction project was added again and required funds of around Rp. 8 billion taken from the East Kotawaringin Regency APBD funds. The additional construction was carried out to build 2 special ablution places for male and female congregations, then install door and window frames imported directly from Jepara. In addition, several very detailed calligraphic ornaments were also decorated on the interior of the mosque, and the painting of the entire building was completed. The process of perfecting the mosque building took about 4 months, from 26 August to 23 December 2011
