"Algabas" mosque is located at Lermontov street, No. 2, Algabas settlement, Alatau district, Almaty city. The mosque was officially opened on February 20, 2004.
The territory of the mosque is 0.25 hectares, the total area is 288.3 square meters. consists of 2 floors. 400 people can pray there at the same time. There is also a separate prayer room and toilet for women. The mosque has a huge dome. The height of the mosque is 17.6 meters.
There is a hall for women to pray and a lecture room on the ground floor of the mosque.
The total capacity of the mosque now reaches 500 seats. The chief imam of the mosque is Saken Amangeldiuly Davmusharov.
