Urban and Architectural

Mosque "Nur Mubarak", located near the Kazakh-Egyptian University "Nur", is part of a multifunctional Islamic center. The center was built in 1997 as a unique Egypt for the people of Kazakhstan.

The architecture of the mosque is unique and similar to the Kazakh mosques we are used to. At first glance, the construction is unobtrusive, but upon closer inspection its features are visible. The elegant minaret attracts the eye with its originality and oriental sophistication.

The interior of the mosque is also different from others. Instead of the usual crystal lamps and the main chandelier, which decorates a simple white dome with colored glass windows, are made of copper. Original and mosaic windows on the western side of the mosque.

One of the features of this religious Muslim building is that most of the northern wall of the prayer hall is occupied by bookcases with valuable editions of spiritual literature.
