History


Central Mosque, which is one of the oldest structures in Bishkek was built in 1886 and renovated in late 20th century.

Urban and Architectural


The central city mosque is a whole complex, which includes three halls for collective prayers - the main one, an annex, and an old mosque, which is almost 100 years old!

 The capacity of the main hall is more than 600 people. The annex accommodates about 1000 people, and on the day of Juma, about 5-6 thousand people gather throughout the mosque.
