Metro Masjid Mosque
History
The Masjid was constructed and operational as of 1999. In order to fulfill the wishes of their late father, Mohammed Carrim, the Masjid has mostly been constructed by the Carrim family.
Urban and Architectural
The plot is a convertion of the Trevenna Stores into a Mosque. The plan shape is a "U" form incorporated with a cube. One central dome dominates the prayer hall, along with a small dome appearin in the south-eastern sideof the mosque. The mosque consists of a ground floor and 4 floors. The building hubs a mosque, with a main prayer hall and women's prayer hall, ablution space and medrasa for islamic culture.
Description
The mosque has one minaret, an arched gallery. It is mostly influenced by the Arabesque North-African Architecture.
