The Mohammed VI mosque, also known as "Centro Mohammed VI para el Diálogo de las Civilizaciones" (Mohammed VI Center for Dialogue of Civilizations), is located in the city of Coquimbo in Chile. The structure is a replica of another mosque, the Kutubiyya Mosque in Marrakesh. The project was led by Moroccan architect Faissal Cherradi. Construction began in 2004 and was inaugurated in 2007. The building is approximately 2000m2 and features a cultural centre, a library, a museum and a 40m high minaret.
