The idea of the evolution of Latin American architecture may contain different facets or points of view. To understand it better, from a historiographic perspective, it is necessary to value the collective expansion of artistic manifestations based on two religions: Islam and Christianity. From the artistic point of view, the mixture of both gave rise to the spread of the Andalusian culture in America, where it is a protagonist in art, urban planning and architecture.
