، أمــر صاحــب الســمو الشــيخ محمــد بــن زايــد آل نهيــان، ولــي عهــد إمــارة أبوظبــي نائــب القائــد الأعلــى للقــوات المســلحة فــي دولــة الإمــارات 2008فــي عــام العربيــة المتحــدة ورئيــس المجلــس التنفيــذي لإمــارة أبوظبــي، بتشــكيل لجنــة تطويــر المســاجد بإمــارة أبوظبــي. وتهــدف اللجنــة إلــى تحقيــق رؤيــة ســمو الشــيخ خليفــة بــن زايــد آل نهيــان، رئيــس دولــة الإمــارات العربيــة المتحــدة حاكــم إمــارة أبوظبــي، الراميــة إلــى مواصلــة تنفيــذ أعمــال التصميــم الراقيــة التــي عــن التطويــر المســتمر ًطمــح إليهــا المغفــور لــه، بــإذن الله، صاحــب الســمو الشــيخ زايــد بــن ســلطان آل نهيــان، الوالــد المؤســس لاتحــاد دولــة الإمــارات، فضــا لإمــارة أبوظبــي.
In 2008, His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, mandated the formation of the Abu Dhabi Mosque Development Committee. Its purpose is to deliver upon the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, for the continued fulfilment of the grand design envisaged by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Father of the Nation, and the ongoing evolution of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
