Bweyogerere Noor Masjid

The mosque is a project using private funding that is aimed at the neighborhood. The building's simple style and lack of decorative elements set it apart from other contemporary mosques. It was built in 2000 and the construction ended in 2003.
Urban and Architectural
The building was designed to serve as both a place of worship and instruction, providing visitors with a wide selection of books, publications, lectures about Islam, and Arabic courses. On top and in the bottom of the wall niches are bookcases and shoe racks, respectively.
Description
Reinforced concrete, steel trusses, wood for the roof, and plaster are the main building components.
