History


A central element of the future community centre, the place of worship will however have a footprint and a smaller capacity than the current building.

 Its promoters also intend to house the many ancillary activities of the association there, ranging from sewing workshops and other sports clubs to religious teaching activities. The association also opened a private college at the start of the 2014 school year which currently hosts around ten students.

Urban and Architectural


This will be adorned with a dome and flanked by two minarets, which sparked controversy after their announcement in the press in October. Initially, the two towers were to culminate at a height of 44 meters. After consultation with the City, the association finally agreed to reduce their height to 36 meters for the time being "to better integrate into the Strasbourg urban landscape".
