The mosque contains 10,000 spaces below for men and 2,500 on the upper level for women. The mosque’s spacious esplanade can hold an extra 12,500 people. The Camayanne Mausoleum, which houses the tombs of national heroes Samori Ture, Sékou Touré, and Alfa Yaya, is located in the mosque’s gardens.
A very light blue color makes the tops of the four minarets, which stand out from the mosque as a whole, quite interestingly shaped. The building is topped with four domes arranged around one larger dome.
