Iere Village is a small village in southern Trinidad, northwest of Princes City. Although small in size, the village is rich in history. It is the site of the first Islamic mosque – 1868. The village is located on the Naparima Mayaro Road on the outskirts of Princes City. The Iere Village Mosque was rebuilt in 1968.
