The Muslim community in Loanda is entirely Sunni, and has approximately 30 worshipers. Being a small community, the mosque still lacks resources, both physical and economic. Today, the mosque has ample space for prayer, kitchens, bathrooms, and good gardens. There is also a house at the back of the mosque that houses the Imam. The mosque is maintained by the Islamic Society of Loanda. Although the community is small, it has attracted many eyes, so much so that at its foundation Saudi Sheiks were present there, and today it also attracts people from the neighboring towns.
