The two-storey building has a centralised floor plan, where the dome has been placed. On its facade, the coloured mosaics, the two minarets and the golden dome stand out. The St. Amaro Mosque has a large prayer hall, language school, and cultural center. Its interior is decorated with stained glass windows, arabesques, and panels with verses from the Koran.
