The Palestine mosque is located in the city of Criciúma, in southern Brazil. The mosque was inaugurated in 2000, and its construction was financed by the Muslim community. The building has approximately 300m2 divided into two floors. Its ground plan has the prayer room in the centre, which is surrounded by a Moorish-style arcade. On the façade are the battlements decorated with the symbol of Islam and a minaret.
