The Tevhid mosque is a mosque and multicultural center in the Maastricht neighborhood of Brusselsepoort , located at Weustenraadstraat no. 24. The mosque, which focuses mainly on Turkish-Dutch Muslims , is managed by a foundation established in 1991. The building is located right next to the Moroccan-Dutch El Fath Mosque .
The building is made of red brick and has a simple rectangular plan. A small dome has been placed on the roof . The building was later expanded on the south and west sides, but retained its original shape. The slender, aluminum-clad minaret is partly placed in a recess in the western facade, but nevertheless rises high above the building. There is a parking lot on the corner of Weustenraadstraat and Nobellaan. In addition to a prayer room, the building on Weustenraadsingel has a Turkish restaurant and a multicultural center, where concerts and pool tournaments take place.
