_As-Shaff Emerald Mosque

Information

The Mosque design features an example of modern-minimalist architecture, taking the basic form of cubism (box). The exterior of the mosque resembles three boxes swallowing each other, where the smallest box is the mihrab. Seeing the basic form of cubism is a characteristic feature of architect Ridwan Kamil design of mosques.

The minaret is about 20 meters high attached to the left side of the building with the same pattern, with a box cross-section. The top of the tower is decorated with round roster ornaments depicting a crescent moon and star. Ornaments with the same shape and motif also decorate the front wall (mihrab) of the mosque.
