Siddiqua Fatima Zahra Mosque (Arabic: مسجد فاطمة الزهراء) is located in the Dahiya Abdullah Mubarak area, near Kuwait International Airport, in Kuwait. Construction began in February 2008 and was completed in June 2011. The mosque spans a total area of 3,200 square meters, accommodating approximately 3,500 men, with a dedicated space for 500 women. It features four minarets, each standing 33 meters high (42 meters from ground level), and a central dome measuring 16 meters in diameter and rising 22 meters in height.
The mosque’s elegant marble was imported from Iran and intricately crafted by Iranian and Indian artisans, who worked around the clock for eight months. The architectural design was led by Dar Tahir Consultants as a collaborative project between Engineer Hani from Egypt and design developer Mr. Anwar from Pakistan. Inspired by the iconic style of the Taj Mahal in India, the mosque blends classical beauty with cultural significance.
