Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque is one of the Aramco residential neighbourhood mosques that was built in 1986. The design features a rectangular mosque covered by a flat roof and punctuated by a shallow dome. Nine small, pyramidal skylights are arranged in a diamond layout over the western section. The semi-circular “mihrab” projects out on the “qibla” wall. The square, free-standing minaret, at the north-west of the main structure, displays a corner treatment of decorative stained glass.
