The book tells the story of the Lebanese immigration to Brazil, from its beginnings, in the 1880’s, until the last phase of immigration, during and after the turbulent years of the Lebanese War (1975-1990). Composed through the Oral History methodology, the report is based on the testimonies of Lebanese immigrants of different origins and ages, in order to compose a panorama of this foreign colony in Brazil.
