Hira Mosque

Information

Hira Masjid  is a mosque (Islamic religious facility) located in front of Gyotoku Station in Ichikawa City , Chiba Prefecture . It was founded in 1997 under the leadership of the Islamic Circle of Japan (ICOJ)through fund-raising activities by Muslims who lived in the area. It was renovated in 2005 and looks like a mosque as it is today.

With the establishment of the mosque , the number of Muslims living in the area has continued to increase year by year, and many halal restaurants and shops have opened around Gyotoku
