Dr Ibrahim M. Al-naimi holds a PhD from the University of Newcastle, Newcastle upon Tyne, School of Architecture (1990), a Master of Architecture from the University of Arizona, Tucson, College of Architecture (1985), and a Bachelor’s degree from King Faisal University, College of Architecture and Planning (1981). Throughout his distinguished career, he has served in various leadership and academic roles, including Secretary General at the Abdullatif Alfozan Award for Mosque Architecture, Chairman of the Department of Architecture, and Coordinator for Students’ Senior Projects. He has also held positions such as President of the AlUmran Saudi Association (Eastern Province chapter) and Vice Dean for the University’s Deanship of Student Affairs at King Faisal University. Additionally, he has contributed significantly to academia as Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Architecture and Planning, Chairman of the College Solar Energy Committee, and Chairman of the Admission and Intern Examination Committee. His academic journey includes roles as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at King Faisal University’s College of Architecture and Planning, where he played a vital role in shaping architectural education and research.
