Location:

The new Turkish Mosque that was completed in early December 2016,is located on the Verlengde Blokkenweg in Ede.

Facilities:

the building consists of two volumes that are rotated relative to each other, as the ground floor with all the public functions located in the south side and oriented to the residential area.

-houses meeting rooms

-classrooms

-prayer room located on the 1 st and 2 nd floors in the volume that is oriented towards al qibla direction (Mecca).

-library

-large kitchen

-shop in the new building

- A patio that works as a transitional area, or a buffer between the busy daily life in the district and the silence of prayer room.

Features:

-Screen-printed glass with a special pattern inspired by the Arabic scripts in the color of gold, as the user can see the pattern reflected in the entrance gate and on the upper side of the minaret.
